As a consummate bargain hunter always looking for the best deal, I realized I know something you may not know. Airfares go down considerably on Tuesday nights. From about 4pm through midnight on Tuesdays, airlines are busy trying to fill seats. Your best bet is to purchase tickets at least 21 days before the day you want to fly. I just paid $169 each for tickets that up until this past Tuesday night have been priced at between $289 and $310! Conservatively that is a $120 savings – enough for a meal or two on our upcoming Disney vacation.
